On September 5, 2020, Ken Caryl Little League (KCLL) and Potenza Norwick Investment Company (PNIC) teamed up to sponsor an MLB Jr Home Run Derby & Skills Competition. We believe it was the only one in CO this year.
We had over 125 kids come out to participate on the two Community Park fields. Competitors hit pitches from the pitching machine and had to hit the ball on the fly beyond designated distances for the home run derby. On the other field, players threw pitches at a target, ran the bases, and hit balls off a tee at targets for the skills competition.

And a SPECIAL
THANK YOU to all that helped out during the course of the day. It was a hot day - and we had volunteers helping to set-up, tear down, run the drills, keep scores, manage registration, and run errands. Thank you to those that purchased additional water for the dugouts as the line at the HR Derby side got long a few times through the day.
