Our AAA division is comprised of players who have aged out of our younger divisions, but are still primarily concerned with development and are not yet ready for the speed and intensity of competition at the Majors level, or younger players who desire a higher level of competition but can not safely compete against 12 year olds in Majors.
At this level, coaches are still expected to facilitate opportunities for all players at positions of interest throughout the season. A limit of 5 runs per inning is applied to minimize lopsided scores, keep games moving, and maximize opportunities for players to try their hand at various positions.
AAA players are required to attend a preseason player assessment for evaluation, after which they will be assigned to a team via draft to promote league parity. Players may be encouraged to move up or required to move down a division based on the assessment.
