The following "League-specific Rules" will be employed during the 2019 Spring Season.

Time Limits:

During the regular season, no new inning shall begin after the time limits noted below. Game time begins at the scheduled time UNLESS the start of the game is delayed by field access or the umpire. Time limit is checked upon the third out of the bottom half of an inning.

SENIOR and INTERMEDIATE:  2:15
MAJORS:  2:00
AAA:  1:45
AA:  1:30
COACH PITCH:  1:15
TEE BALL:  1:00

Score Limits:

During the regular season, each half inning shall have the following "maximum runs" permitted. The limit applies to all innings played (i.e., there is no special exclusion for the last inning).

AAA:  5 run maximum during any half inning
AA:  5 run maximum during any half inning


Rule Modifications:

During the regular season, the following Little League rules will be modified and accepted by KCLL during the games. Playoff rules may be different (e.g., time limits may be lifted and/or restrictions on coaches warming up pitchers may be applied).

SENIOR and INTERMEDIATE

Game time limit will apply if 7 innings are not completed prior to the time limit.
A coach may warm up a pitcher in between innings or in a bullpen.

MAJORS

Game time limit will apply if 6 innings are not completed prior to the time limit.
A coach may warm up a pitcher in between innings or in a bullpen.

AAA

Game time limit will apply if 6 innings are not completed prior to the time limit.
A coach may warm up a pitcher in between innings or in a bullpen.
Maximum run count per half inning shall apply.

AA

Game time limit will apply if 6 innings are not completed prior to the time limit.
A coach may warm up a pitcher in between innings or in a bullpen.
Maximum run count per half inning shall apply.
There is no "dropped third strike" rule in effect at any time.
Pitcher plate will be set at 40' and the base paths will be set at 50'.
Runners may not steal home under any circumstance (i.e., may not advance home on passed ball, overthrow from catcher to pitcher, or on any throw from the catcher to a base in an attempt to record an out on a runner stealing a base).
Runners may ONLY advance to home when forced by a bases loaded walk or during plays made when the ball is hit into play.
Runners may not advance beyond a single stolen base even if a throw is made to catch the runner. This includes:
*  When a catcher throws to second, the runner stealing 2nd base may not advance further on that throw.
*  When a catcher throws to third, the runner stealing 3rd base may not advance further on that throw.
*  When a catcher throws to second, a runner on 3rd base may not advance to home.
Runners MAY advance on a first overthrown ball during a play. They may not advance on a second overthrow.

Coach Pitch

There are no minimum or maximum innings. Play continues until the time limit is reached.
Base paths will be set at 50'.
All players will bat through the line-up once each half inning.
Runners will return to the dugout after a put out at a base.
No strike outs or walks. If the player has not hit a thrown ball after about 10 pitches, the batter should hit from a tee.
No score is kept. There is no game winner or loser. There are no division standings.

Tee Ball

There are no minimum or maximum innings. Play continues until the time limit is reached.
Base paths will be set at 50'.
All players will bat through the line-up once each half inning.
Runners will remain on the base after a put out at a base.
No strike outs or walks. The batter will hit from a tee.
No score is kept. There is no game winner or loser. There are no division standings.
