The following "League-specific Rules" will be employed during the 2022 Spring Season.
Time Limits:
During the regular season, no new inning shall begin after the time limits noted below. Game time begins at the scheduled time UNLESS the start of the game is delayed by field access or the umpire. Time limit is checked upon the third out of the bottom half of an inning.
SENIOR and INTERMEDIATE: 2:15 or 7 innings
MAJORS: 6 innings with no time limit
AAA: 2:00 or 6 innings
AA: 1:45 or 6 innings
A: 1:30 or 6 innings
COACH PITCH: 1:15
TEE BALL: 1:00
Score Limits:
During the regular season, each half inning shall have the following "maximum runs" permitted. The limit applies to all innings played (i.e., there is no special exclusion for the last inning).
AAA: 5 run maximum during any half inning
AA: 5 run maximum during any half inning
A: 4 run maximum during any half inning
Rule Modifications:
During the regular season, the following Little League rules will be modified and accepted by KCLL during the games. Playoff rules may be different (e.g., time limits may be lifted and/or restrictions on coaches warming up pitchers may be applied).
SENIOR and INTERMEDIATE
A coach may warm up a pitcher in between innings or in a bullpen.
A tIme limit is applied to the game.
MAJORS
A coach may warm up a pitcher in between innings or in a bullpen.
AAA
Game time limit will apply if 6 innings are not completed prior to the time limit.
A coach may warm up a pitcher in between innings or in a bullpen.
Maximum run count per half inning shall apply.
AA
Game time limit will apply if 6 innings are not completed prior to the time limit.
A coach may warm up a pitcher in between innings or in a bullpen.
Maximum run count per half inning shall apply.
There is no "dropped third strike" rule in effect at any time.
Pitcher plate will be set at 42' and no mound will be used.
Runners may not advance on throws (caught or uncaught) from the catcher returning a pitched ball to the pitcher.

Runners MAY advance on a first overthrown ball during a play. They may not advance on a second overthrow.
Coach Pitch
There are no minimum or maximum innings. Play continues until the time limit is reached.
Base paths will be set at 50'.
All players will bat through the line-up once each half inning (or both teams can agree to use a "3 out half inning" option).
Runners will return to the dugout after a put out at a base.
No strike outs or walks. If the player has not hit a thrown ball after 5 pitches, the batter should hit from a tee.
No score is kept. There is no game winner or loser. There are no division standings.
Tee Ball
There are no minimum or maximum innings. Play continues until the time limit is reached.
Base paths will be set at 50'.
All players will bat through the line-up once each half inning.
Runners will remain on the base after a put out at a base.
No strike outs or walks. The batter will hit from a tee.
No score is kept. There is no game winner or loser. There are no division standings.
