COACHING 101
Coaching 101 is a free workshop we are offering to volunteer coaches in our community who are early on or just beginning their coaching journey. Maybe you’ve got a season under your belt, but feel frustrated that you could have done more to develop your players, or you’re jumping into coaching for the first time as a way to spend more time with your child. This 2 hour long workshop led by experienced KCLL coaches will walk you through the ins and outs of running a Little League team, including building a team culture, running fun and engaging practices, building skills over the course of a season, game management, and more.
This workshop is free to anyone in our community and is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED for new coaches who want to get off to a strong start.
When: Saturday, February 24th, 10am-12pm

Advanced Coaching Roundtable
Our advanced coaching roundtable will be an opportunity for coaches in our competitive divisions to hear from a panel of experienced coaches their best tips and tricks for running a strong team throughout the Spring season. We’ll tackle topics ranging from building a balanced roster, creating team culture, teaching mental approach, how to teach fundamentals, run effective practices, and game management strategy. There will also be opportunities for coaches in attendance to share thoughts with the room on what has worked well for them in the past. We recognize that all coaches have different coaching styles, so we want to give our community an opportunity to hear from a variety of voices and take from it what is helpful for their coaching style.
This workshop is free to anyone in our community and is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED for coaches who are moving up in competitive division levels, or have enjoyed coaching and want to see their teams play stronger than in previous seasons.
